A Middletown woman died after she was found unconscious behind the wheel of a vehicle, authorities said. Middletown police responded to the report of a vehicle that drove off the road near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Collinson Drive at around 12:36 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, the department said in a news release. Police in South Jersey seek the public's help in identifying suspects from a fatal shooting outside a social club. Four men and two teens were arrested in Atlantic City, five of whom were accused of selling heroin, cocaine, and Xanax, authorities said. The six suspects were taken into custody during "an operation targeting areas of concern." The Atlantic City Police Department announced the arrests in a news release on Wednesday, May 22. Firefighters Battle Blaze At Central Jersey Home
A fire ripped through a house in Monmouth County, authorities said. Howell Township police responded to the fire on Woodstown Drive at around 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, the department said in a news release. A woman was wounded by gunfire in the City of Salem, authorities said. Police responded to shots fired on the 200 block of Wesley Street at about 11:15 p.m. Monday, May 20. They found a 23-year-old victim, Salem police said. She was taken for treatment at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. A dolphin has been stuck in a Cape May County creek for several days and marine biologists said they're figuring out how to rescue it. A 19-year-old mini-bike rider was killed when he collided with a van, authorities said. Justin Rapp, of Marlton, died in the crash, according to Evesham police. An Atlantic County corrections officer was among three people accused of a scheme to smuggle contraband into the county's jail, authorities said.
