Lansdale drivers can expect detours over the weekend as work begins on the Main Street SEPTA track crossing, officials say. SEPTA workers will be removing and replacing the existing crossing surface, worn ties, and rails through the intersection, according to borough police. The family of a woman killed while swimming near her Atlantic City townhouse is has announced a lawsuit against the boater charged in her death. Norma Michaels, 79, of Atlantic City, died on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, when she was hit by a boat propeller just off the dock of her South Boulevard Avenue townhome. Jeffrey Jastrzembski, 53, of Atlantic City, was charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter. Detectives are investigating after a car was stolen off an Easton street last Wednesday, May 8. Authorities believe the pictured man stole a grey Kia Soul off the 200 block of West Nesquehoning Street. State Vehicle Involved In I-78 Crash In Berks County, PA State Police Say
A crash truck was struck from behind on Interstate 78 on Monday afternoon, May 13, according to state police. Troopers said it happened around 2 p.m. near the Stump Road underpass in Maxatawny Township. The crash truck was stopped in the right westbound lane with its emergency lights flashing. A tractor-trailer was approaching from the west and "attempted to change lanes as the crash truck indicated," but was unable to do so or stop in time, state police said. A pregnant teenager is dead following what was initially reported as a "shots fired" incident, police in Harrisburg explained Monday night. Tyemeshia Miller, 19, of Harrisburg was found shot in the back in the area of North 4th and Woodbine streets around 5:45 p.m. on May 13, according to the Bureau's release and the Dauphin County Coroner's Office.
