Bean will open its newest retail store in Ulster County on Friday, May 10, at Ulster Crossing in Ulster. Store officials said the Ulster store is the first of four projected openings in 2024 and the eighth L.L.Bean store to open in New York. The Albany County incident happened at around 2 a.m. Friday, April 19, in the town of Berne on Long Road. 2-Car Crash Injures 1, Closes Part Of Route 6N In Mahopac A two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley sent one person to the hospital and caused a brief closure on a busy roadway. The incident happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, April 17 just before 10 a.m., when two cars collided on Route 6N in Mahopac near Parker Drive, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving first responders soon closed Route 6N at the nearest intersections and tended to the drivers' injuries. One driver was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital while the other refused medical attention.
