Zimmerman, along with teammates Caroline Pennacchio and Ryan Gallagher, competed against other high school track athletes at the tournament in Syracuse on June 10-11, according to the district.

"Please join me in congratulating our state qualifying athletes on a fantastic spring track season," said Coach Wendi Bean. "Jack, Caroline and Ryan competed against the best athletes in the state and many of the best athletes in the country."
