Briarcliff Manor School Budget Approved; Jennifer Rosen Elected

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Voters in the Briarcliff Manor School District approved the 2014-15 budget, 863 votes to 452 votes.

The $49.3 million budget increased spending by 5.45 percent with a tax levy increase of .45 percent.

Town of Ossining residents will see their taxes increase by 1.21 percent while Mount Pleasant residents will see their taxes decrease by .21 percent.

Jennifer Rosen defeated Gregory Dow for one seat on the school board, 764-662.
