"We accomplished what no one thought was possible," Trump said. "We close one chapter and begin another."
Trump vowed to fight for fantastic trade deals that would make America money and bring in jobs.
"I know some people say I'm a fighter, but my preference is always peace," Trump said. "I always want to bring people together. But if I am forced to fight for something, I will never back down."
The business mogul bashed politicians who "fail to deliver and rig the system to benefit themselves," taking a shot at Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee and resident of Chappaqua.
"The Clintons have turned political enrichment into an art form for themselves," Trump said. "Hillary Clinton turned the State Department into a private hedge fund."
Trump said he will give a speech about the Clintons on Monday that he said people would find informative. He accused Clinton of giving Russia and China favorable treatment in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation.
"It's a sad day in America when foreign governments with deep pockets have more influence than ordinary citizens in this great country," Trump said.
Trump has also come under fire for his attacks on a judge overseeing a lawsuit claiming Trump University was a fraud. Trump has said the judge, Gonzalo Curio, is being unfair to him because he is Mexican and Trump wants to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. Curio, who is of Mexican descent, was born in Indiana.
Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino attended the speech. Astorino endorsed Trump after he won the New York primaries. He said he had no second thoughts about it.
"They (Clinton and Trump) both have said dumb stuff," Astorino said. "They should be focusing on the issues."
Former two-time "Apprentice" contestant Omarosa was also on hand to show her support for Trump.
"He's been an incredible friend of 13 years," Omarosa said. "He will work hard for the people. I stand firmly by him."
Trump also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Seven Springs in Bedford. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
