Seven Northern Westchester Residents Charged With DWI, Dwai In State Police Stops

Several area residents were among two dozen busted by New York State Police troopers for impaired driving in the Hudson Valley since late last week.

Local residents facing charges are: 

Westchester County

  • On Friday, Dec. 14, State Police troopers from Somers arrested Andrew H. Depodwin, 68, of Somers, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Route 202 in Somers, when he was involved in a personal injury motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Friday, Dec. 14, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Albert V. Good, 51, of Cortlandt, for DWI. He was traveling on LaFayette Avenue in Cortlandt, when he was involved in a personal injury motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 15, State Police troopers from Cortlandt arrested Thomas P. McCoskey, 52, of Cortlandt, for DWI. He was traveling on East Main Street in Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 15, State Police troopers from Hawthorne arrested Alexander C. Davis, 25, of Chappaqua, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant, and rear-ended a tow truck that was assisting a disabled vehicle. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.
