Briarcliff's Pleasantville Road Construction Continues This Week

Cablevision is "in the midst of installing about 650 feet of new underground conduit," said Briarcliff Manor Village Manager Philip Zegarelli in his weekly report.

"The work runs north of North State Road, up Pleasantville Road to Poplar where it will be tied into their junction," Zegarelli said in the report. "As they complete the trenching and laying of conduit, Cablevision’s contractor is to back fill the trench to let the surface compact."

Zegarelli said residents should expect the construction to continue into the evenings.

"Ongoing work will be 'plated' with steel plates each night," he said in the report. "This work project is expected to last about two weeks. Please take caution: flag men and restricted lanes are in place and expect delays."
