Analysts for Briarcliff view the annexation as a financial win for everybody. They say the village and town tax rates would decrease by approximately $3 per $1,000 of assessed value, LoHud.com reported.

Ossining analysts don't share the same view. According to their numbers, residents of Briarcliff Manor would see an 8.33 percent hike in village and town tax rates, LoHud.com said.
