“As a corporate neighbor and generous donor to our cause, we already call Ellen a friend. Her involvement on our board of directors will greatly enhance the strong base of management and business experience that exists on our board of directors,” said Food Bank for Westchester Executive Director Ellen Lynch.

Rothschild is co-founder and chief marketing officer of Digiscribe International, formed in 2001 to provide companies of all sizes with cost-effective document scanning, document management and office automation services.

She is responsible for business development, branding, client communication and publicity. Rothschild brings several years of business-to-business marketing experience in the information technology industry to her role with the Food Bank for Westchester. She is also adept at business-to-consumer marketing, having worked in account management at several leading New York advertisement agencies.

“Each new board member brings fresh perspective, valued knowledge and skills, and a deep commitment to the Food Bank for Westchester’s mission,” said Rick Rakow, chairman of the board of Food Bank for Westchester. “We are thrilled to have Ellen join us, and her professional expertise will add considerably to our capacity for leadership and support.”

For most of her life, Rothschild has lived and worked in Westchester County, contributing to the economic base in the county, and dedicated her time and talent to several not-for-profit organizations.

“When a community has proper nutrition, they can be healthy, children can be productive, adults can be successful in work,” said Rothschild. “I am thrilled to join an organization such as the Food Bank for Westchester that focuses on giving families and individuals hope.”

Rothschild resides in Briarcliff Manor with her husband, Mitch Taube, co-founder and owner of Digiscribe. They have two adult children, Juliana and Zachary.
