Among the 600 trailblazers and change-makers spanning 20 industries are Westchester residents: Adam James of New Rochelle, Eric Frieman of Scarsdale and Sammi Cannold of Bedford Corners.

Adam James, 28 of New Rochelle: Founder of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute.

Here's what Forbes said about the dad of two:

Adam James is chief of staff at Energy Impact Partners, which has $500 million under management, and is the cofounder of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI), a non-profit dedicated to preparing the next generation of leaders in clean energy. Since 2013, 300 have gone through the program. Previously worked at Tesla and SolarCity.

James earned his Bachelor's of Arts and Science from George Mason University.

"My goal is to accelerate the global transition to a low-carbon energy system," his LinkedIn profile says.

Eric Frieman, 27 of Scarsdale: Cofounder of VFR Healthcare.

Here's what Forbes said about the Vanderbilt University alum:

When Eric Frieman's older brother came back from deployment in Iraq, Eric wanted to make sure he had help if he needed it. It was hard to find. Frieman cofounded Veteran & First Responder Healthcare in 2016 to provide intensive outpatient addiction and mental health treatment programs. The company has grown to more than 60 employees and a partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Sammi Cannold, 24 of Bedford Corners: The young theater director earned her Master's of Arts Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a graduate of Stanford University and Byram Hills High School.

Cannold will be the youngest female director in American Repertory Theater history when she helms the premier of Celine Song's "Endlings" in 2019. The Sundance Institute Fellow's resume includes a production of "Ragtime" on Ellis Island and "Violet" on a moving bus.
