WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y . -- Westchester residents are certainly feeling the roar of March.

The region was hit with another snowstorm Thursday, bringing up to 6 inches of snow in some areas, though most regions received between 3-4 inches.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. School districts in the area closed, while many towns closed early, canceling court and recreational programs.

The City of Peekskill cancelled programs at the senior center, while the Town of Ossining closed town offices at 1:30 p.m.

The Town of Yorktown cancelled traffic, civil and criminal court and suspended recycling and refuse collection.

The Town of Cortlandt closed at 1 p.m. and cancelled all meetings and activities. The Town of North Castle cancelled all recreation programs.
