Route 117 Stretch Reopens In Mount Pleasant

A stretch of Route 117 in Pleasantville has reopened Friday afternoon after a downed pole with wires led to its closure for approximately an hour and a half.

Downed wires forced the closure of Route 117 in Mount Pleasant between Choate Lane and the entrances to the Taconic State Parkway and Route 9A on Friday. The busy thoroughfare is expected to be closed for at least six hours, state officials said.
