Kevin McGrath, a Ridgefield Park resident died on Thursday, April 11, surrounded by his family, according to his obituary.
Born in The Bronx, McGrath worked for Cardella Trucking in North Bergen, his obituary reads. In his free time, McGrath enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and listening to the Grateful Dead and bluegrass music while making repairs around the house, according to his obituary.

Ridgefield Park Officer Finds Gun, Hollow-Nose Ammo, $24,500 After Stopping Out-Of-State Driver
A Ridgefield Park police officer turned up a handgun loaded with hollow-nose bullets, a small amount of crystal meth and $24,500 in suspicious cash during a traffic stop, authorities said.
Officer Amanda Thomas stopped the Toyota Tundra for a number of violations at Main and Hobart streets shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, Police Chief Joseph Rella said.
The driver, 40-year-old Mexican national Raul Villanueva Muratalla of Nashville, was taken into custody a short time later, he said.

Thousands of residents were without power as of 9 a.m.

Gotcha! Leonia Officer Quickly Finds Familiar Face Who Fled Traffic Stop: Police
A repeat offender who might’ve thought he’d given a Leonia police sergeant the slip would've been wrong.
It began when Leonia Police Sgt. Ray Forsdahl tried to stop a BMW with New York plates for a violation in the area of Broad and Lakeview avenues, Capt. Chris Garris said.
The driver kept going, though, getting onto southbound Route 95, the captain said on Friday, Dec. 1.
Forsdahl pursued him for a ways, then dropped back out of safety reasons, he said.
