Pace Softball, Baseball Fall to Bloomfield College

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace softball team lost both games Wednesday of a doubleheader to the Bloomfield College Deacons. The Setters lost the first game, 11-2, and the second game, 11-3.

Pace is now 27-17 this season and will travel to face Northeast-10 Conference foe Southern New Hampshire on Saturday for a doubleheader at noon.

Baseball:

Bloomfield also got the best of Pace’s baseball team as the Deacons dropped the Setters, 8-2. Tyler Collins belted a two-run homer and Joe Lombardi went 3-for-4 for Pace (21-15).

The Setters will host Southwest Division opponent Assumption College for a doubleheader on Saturday at noon, followed by another game Sunday at 1 p.m. when “Pace Goes Pink.”

Men’s Lacrosse:

Second-ranked Le Moyne overpowered Pace, 17-5, despite John Kolesar’s two goals and Matt Mirabito’s goal and assist. Pace is now 5-7 overall and 3-5 in conference.

Pace will host Merrimack College on Sunday at 3 p.m. as they honor the seniors on the team.
