Pace Setters Outhit Southern New Hampshire

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Melanie Pavels led the Setters volleyball team with 19 kills and with 10 digs and teammates Nora Rugova of Mount Kisco and Tamilee Webb of Ardsley contributed to a 3-1 set victory over Southern New Hampshire.

Rugova and Webb each had nine kills and Kelsi Root totaled nine kills and three blocks, while Elyse Rowland netted 23 digs as the Setters 25-15, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17 in Northeast-10 Conference action and improved to 17-8 overall and 7-4 in the NE-10.

Shea Hansen totaled 45 assists along with eight digs and two blocks and moved into second place all-time in Pace history in career assists with 3,870.

The Setters return to action on Saturday against Northeast-10 Conference visiting opponent Franklin Pierce University at the Goldstein Fitness Center at 11 a.m.
