BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. - The Briarcliff High girls lacrosse team played a strong game Friday at home, taking a 16-9 decision over Blind Brook, on a cool, overcast day at Briarcliff High School.

Jordan Riccardi led the Bears (3-1) with five goals and three assists, Melanie Prinz had five goals and one assist, and Lexi Grasso had a hat-trick and three assists.

"I was very happy that we had a lot of assists," Bears coach Jessica McDonough said. "Of our 16 goals, 11 were assisted, so that shows we're all contributing across the board."
