BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff cheerleading squad is going to Disney World.
The cheerleaders will be competing at the National High Scool Cheerleading Championship on Feb. 10-11 at Walt Disney World. The contest will be televised on ESPN. This is the first time Briarcliff is competing at nationals. The team qualified after competing at a regional competition in the Poconos.
The 15 cheerleaders, coached by Stephanie Georgioudakis, do a three-minute routine featuring cheers, stunting, and dancing.
