BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. The Briarcliff Baseball Booster Club Tournament kicks off Wednesday, with four teams participating in the two-day event.
The Bears will host Ossining at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the first game of the tournament. Irvington will then face ONeill, which will travel down from West Point, in the second game at 4 p.m.
The championship and consolation games will be played Thursday.
The tournament opens a season that Briarcliff enters with high expectations. The Bears lost in the Class B state championship game last season and return several seniors to the roster this year.
