The school district will develop a new long-range plan to provide an opportunity to reflect on current practices and determine what is needed for students to succeed

According to Ossining Schools Superintendent Ray Sanchez, in the last few years long-range plans have helped in establishing many of the current programs across the Ossining School District. An integral part of the process for developing such a plan includes gathering feedback from community and staff.

This information will help establish priorities to ensure the school district continues to move forward as a strong and effective system. The plan will help ensure that all students graduate from Ossining High School are prepared for any journey they may choose, and that the school district remains a place where students love to learn, educators inspire, families engage, and the community trusts in its work.

Educational forum, where thoughts and ideas will be shared, will take place on Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the AMD Cafeteria.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to Ily Ortiz at iortiz@ossining.k12.ny.us or 914-941-7700, ext. 1317. If you have any questions, you may contact Raymond Sanchez.
