Briarcliff Students Transition To New Schools

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Students entering new schools in Briarcliff Manor for the first time attended an orientation session on Sept. 3.

Parents went to school with their kindergarteners to meet their teachers and see their classrooms for the first time. 

For sixth-graders transitioning to Briarcliff Middle School, students reviewed their schedules, toured the building, received their locker combinations and learned what to expect from a typical day. 

Senior mentors led incoming freshmen around the high school and to various activities throughout the day. The students toured the building and learned about study skills in the library, the computer lab and the school's clubs. The freshman also wrote letters to themselves that they will receive at a senior breakfast, 

to follow Daily Voice Briarcliff and receive free news updates.
