BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- The Briarcliff High School National Honor Society recently sponsored a blood drive in conjunction with the New York Blood Center.
“We tried to get students involved in advance,” said senior Jordana Cohen, co-vice president of the National Honor Society. “A lot of people have been showing up.”
“It’s a really easy thing to do,” said Cohen. “And donating blood could potentially save someone’s life.”
The blood drive took place in the high school gymnasium.
