Briarcliff Seventh-Graders Get Taste Of History In Philadelphia

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. -- Briarcliff Middle School’s seventh-grade students posed with past presidents and paid respect to Benjamin Franklin during its annual class trip to Philadelphia on Oct. 22.

The 115 students, along with 13 teachers and parent volunteers, traveled to the historic city for a day of hands-on learning at Christ Church, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Benjamin Franklin’s burial site and print shop, the National Constitution Center and Independence Hall.
