BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Briarcliff schools will remain closed Thursday because of power outages and downed trees in the area caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The Briarcliff Union Free School District posted the announcement on its official website. All after-school activities and out-of-district transportation are canceled as well.
