BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- Briarcliff native Paul Henshaw, a junior at Kenyon College, tossed a no-hitter for the school's baseball team on Sunday.
Henshaw worked all seven innings, striking out nine and issuing no walks en route to a 7-0 win.
The only two runners the Titans got on base were via a third-strike wild pitch in the fourth inning and an error in the sixth inning. Neither of those runners reached second base.
Henshaw is now 2-0 with 2.03 earned run average.
Henshaw is part of a strong pitching staff at Kenyon that has led the team to a 7-2 start this season with a 2.54 earned run average over 71 innings pitched.
