The high school students, who attend the school's Introduction to Theater class, joined students from the Bear Bones Theater to fill the "empty space" of the stage with "pathos or humor, catharsis or contemplation, strife of love," according to a statement from the school district.

Directors Ian Driver and Jamie Mandel encouraged the students to use their imaginations while bringing their works to life, according the district.

The student participants included, Olivia Banc, Jasmine Bar, Tabitha Birch, Julianna Brown, Sam Driver, Kashika Goel, Danielle Jacoby, Sarah Kaul, Mikayla Kibel, Matt Kutcher, Kayla Owen, Sabine Poux, Michael Price, Robert Prendergast, Helaina Ross, Henry Ross, Juliet Tierney and Stephanie Vaream.
