Briarcliff High Senior Selected as Presidential Scholar Finalist

BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. -- Briarcliff High School senior Caroline Pennacchio has been selected by the United States Presidential Scholars Program as a finalist in the 2016 national competition.

The program honors distinguished graduating high school seniors across the country based on academic achievement, academic and artistic scholarship in the arts or abilities and accomplishments in career and technical education fields.

Up to 161 students are named annually as Presidential Scholars, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.

Pennacchio will be attending Dartmouth College in the fall.
