Ranked at No. 48 nationally, Briarcliff High School students are noted for participating in, and passing, “a robust curriculum of college-level math and science courses,” the publication said.

Briarcliff High School qualified for the distinction after being selected as a gold medal winner in the 2015 Best High School rankings and through its Advanced Placement scores in the areas of mathematics and science for its 2013 graduates, according to a press release.

“Briarcliff High School sets high expectations for all students, encouraging them to take rigorous programs, including honors, college-level and Advanced Placement courses, with an overall focus on developing college readiness skills,” said Principal Debora French in a press release. “Through exposure to comprehensive and rigorous courses of study in mathematics and science, exemplary teaching and high standards for all students, Briarcliff High School students excel in preparing for 21st-century STEM careers.”
