Following their runner-up and finalist positions in the Needham Memorial Day Invitational and Showcase, the U13 team from Briarcliff delivered a 2-0 shutout win over a soccer academy team from Long island.

Helping with the win were defenders Bridget Richer and Maya Celaj from Briarcliff, Maddie Adler from Chappaqua and Jenna Daly from Mahopac, along with attacker Isabelle Tola from Ossining and semifinal goal scorers Hailey Dubbioso of North Salem and Erin Daly from Mahopac.

"This is an amazing accomplishment for this team and a testament to their hard work. For Briarcliff to have a local premier program that delivers these kind of results is wonderful. We are very pleased with the growth and success achieved by our Academy teams in our first few years and we look forward to continued success,” said Owen Scully, Briarcliff High School girls varsity championship coach and Perfect Touch Soccer Academy director of coaching.

The finals will be played Saturday at 11:30 a.m. HBC Soccer Complex in Long Island.
