Born in Portugal, Paulo "was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always put the needs of her family before her own," according to information from the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Antonio Sanches and his wife Custodia, Carmin Paulo and his wife Sandra, all of Bridgeport, and Fernanda Fernandes and her husband Antonio of New York; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Paulo was predeceased by her husband, Carmin Paulo; mother, Maria Luisa Pires.
Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, March 14, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., in Trumbull. Funeral services will be at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, at the funeral home, and at 9 a.m. mass in Our Lady of Fatima Church, in Bridgeport. Interment will take place in Vilar, Boticas, Portugal.
