NFL, American Cancer Society seek breast cancer survivors for campaign

CRUCIAL CATCH: The American Cancer Society and the NFL are seeking 10 breast cancer survivors and their families in North Jersey to be featured as part of their “Crucial Catch” breast cancer awareness campaign, our local “Ladies in Blue Fighting in Pink” group announced this morning.

A photo shoot is scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6 at Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford. It ends at noon.

“Crucial Catch” focuses on the importance of annual screenings, especially for women who are 40 and older.
