As Iowans head out to vote today, a Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics poll shows that Donald Trump has pulled ahead of his top challenger, Ted Cruz, in the batttle for the heavily-contested caucus, the Register reports.
Trump, who owns an estate in Bedford and golf clubs in Briarcliff Manor and Hopewell Junction, is leading the way in Iowa with 28 percent of the vote, while Cruz stands at 23 percent, according to the Register.
Marco Rubio is in third place with 15 percent of the vote, the Register reports.
