Trump fought to lower the assessment at Trump National in Briarcliff from $13.5 million to $1.4 million, according to the Journal News. In Trump's financial disclosures in 2015 and 2016, he said the 140-acre golf course was worth more than $50 million, according to Huffington Post.
At Trump National Hudson Valley in East Fishkill, Trump settled with the town and lowered its assessment from $6 million to $4.6 million in 2015, according to Huffington Post. In his disclosure, Trump said the property was worth between $5 million and $25 million, according to Huffington Post.
Trump managed to get a refund of $31,367.06 from Wappingers Central School District, $5,045.38 from Dutchess County, $4,141.25 from the town of East Fishkill, $1,066.06 from the East Fishkill Fire Department, and $306.99 from the public library, according to Huffington Post.
The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
