Lori A. Sullivan was elected mayor. Incumbent Mark L. Wilson and first-time nominee Bryan Zirman were elected to two-year terms on the village Board of Trustees. Their terms will begin April 1.
A total of 150 voters turned out, with 142 machine votes and eight absentee ballots cast for the caucus candidates. Zirman received 148 votes, Wilson received 141 votes and Sullivan received 138 votes.
The People’s Caucus of Briarcliff Manor is a nonpartisan civic organization that encourages candidates to seek local elected office. Any resident of the village who is eligible to vote in a general election is automatically a member of the caucus, regardless of any political party affiliation.
