Yorktown Man Charged With Possessing Oxycodone Following Domestic Incident

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A 31-year-old Yorktown man was charged with misdemeanor drug possession after police pulled him over soon after he left the scene of an alleged domestic incident, authorities said.

According to Yorktown police, Elliot Ozols was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Oct. 18 on Colonial Hill Road after he was found to be in possession of oxycodone, a controlled substance for which he had no prescription, police said.

Ozols was taken to police headquarters, where he was booked and later released without bail, according to police.

He is to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Thursday, Nov. 17, to answer to a misdemeanor count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to police.
