YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Bronx woman faces burglary charges after she was found hiding in the Macy’s at the Jefferson Valley Mall, Yorktown police said.
Irene L. Trujillo, 53, was discovered by store employees after hours on Monday, Feb. 22, and police were called.
Police said that the store felt the suspect’s intent was to steal merchandise.
Trujillo, who now faces a felony charge, was sent to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, police said.
She is to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Thursday, Feb. 25, police said.
