Woman, 58, Charged With Stealing Merchandise From Taconic Pharmacy

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Jefferson Valley woman was charged with two counts of petty larceny on Sunday, Oct. 25, according to Yorktown police.

Louise A. Miller of allegedly stole merchandise from the Taconic Pharmacy on Oct. 17 and 22, officials report.

An employee of the pharmacy allegedly identified Miller, 58, stealing from the store in surveillance video footage, according to Yorktown police.

The value of the merchandise stolen on Oct. 17 was $16.77; the merchandise stolen on Oct. 22 was worth $18.17, Yorktown police report.

After being contacted by police, Miller voluntarily appeared at the Yorktown Police Department and was placed under arrest, officials report.

She was released on her own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Dec. 1, Yorktown police report.
