Van Accident In Briarcliff Manor Sends 12 To Hospital

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Twelve van passengers were sent to the hospital late Monday night after the vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Route 9 in Briarcliff Manor and burst into flames, according to published reports.

The crash happened in front of Scarborough Presbyterian Church and the blaze was quickly extinguished by firefighters, reports said.

Victims were taken to Westchester Medical Center and Phelps Memorial Hospital, reports said.
