It appeared the vehicle left the roadway and drove through a fence for more than 50 feet, authorities said.
Engine 119 (Washington Engine Company No. 2) arrived and EMTs from that unit gained access to the woman while the remainder of E119's crew, working with the E118 crew, opened up the driver's door and hood to disconnect the battery, according to authorities.
While packaging the victim for removal, she awoke and was given over to EMS personnel for treatment and transport to Westchester Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The Croton FD, Croton-on-Hudson Emergency Medical Services, a paramedic from Ossining Volunteer ambulance corps and state police all responded.
The crashed occurred around 6:15 a.m.
