Westchester County Police officers were dispatched to a business on East Main Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11, following multiple reports of a man sleeping in the doorway.

Upon arrival at the scene, police determined that the homeless man, 52-year-old Adelmo Ramirez-Garcia, had three warrants for his arrest for failure to answer summonses charging him with drinking in public.

Ramirez-Garcia was arraigned in village court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court later this year to answer all of the charges.
