“A guy fell off of his bike and suffered injuries to his hands and legs,” said Briarcliff Manor Officer Michael Zazzini. “He was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital.”
The Briarcliff Manor Police and Fire departments responded to the single-vehicle accident at about 2 p.m., police said. The injuries to the man, whose identity was not released, were believed to be non-life-threatening, police said. New York State Police also responded.
Police also reported the following items from Dec. 3 to 11:
• An 86-year-old Briarcliff Manor resident was injured when he lost control of his vehicle along Chappaqua Road and struck a tree at 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, police said. The injuries were not life-threatening, and the man was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospital. No other vehicles were involved, police said.
• Vandals damaged holiday decorations at a home on Hemlock Road, a resident told police Dec. 10. The decorations were in his yard and wires connecting to candy cane lights were cut. There were no suspects or witnesses, police said.
• Someone stole a payroll bag Dunkin’ Donuts on North State Road in Briarcliff Manor, the store manager reported to police Dec. 6. The Briarcliff Manor Police Department was investigating.
