Daniel Traisman, 30, of Greenwich, Conn., was arrested and charged with multiple offenses after troopers found his vehicle and he admitted making up the story to get faster service, police said.

An investigation of his car found cocaine, Clonazepam pills and two glass pipes with burned cocaine residue, according to police.

Traisman was charged with fifth-degree and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, along with third-degree false reporting of an incident, police said.

He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail after arraignment at Rye City Court, according to police.
