Man, 44, Charged With DWI In Taconic State Parkway Stop

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- New York State Police in Hawthorne charged a man with driving while intoxicated on the Taconic State Parkway on Saturday, according to police officials.

Troopers suspected Abdul K. Muhammad, 44, of New York City, of being intoxicated after checking on him and his disabled vehicle, police said. 

Muhammad provided a breathalyzer sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.13 percent. He is scheduled to return to Yorktown Town Court on Tuesday, Jan. 20, police said.
