Florida Woman Arrested After Briarcliff Burglary

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – A Florida woman was arrested recently after reportedly breaking into a Briarcliff Manor home.

Julianna Fiumara, 31, of St. Augustine, Fla., was arrested Jan. 17 after a resident of Farm Road reportedly spotted the woman in her home, police said. Fiumara was arraigned and charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree possession of stolen property and fourth-degree criminal mischief, according to the Briarcliff Manor Police Department.

Fiumara was found inside the home and a stolen vehicle also was recovered from the scene, police said.

Police also reported the following items from Jan. 14-23:

• A resident on Hickory Road reported a suspicious noise complaint at around 7:15 p.m. Jan. 14. Officers were unable to determine the cause of the noise.

• Two vehicles were involved in a car crash at around 9 a.m. Jan. 22 on Pleasantville Road outside of Briarcliff High School. No one was hurt in the crash and it did not occur on school grounds.
