BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – A Coca-Cola tractor-trailer collided with a Briarcliff Manor resident's vehicle last Tuesday morning along Route 9A and fled the scene, Briarcliff Manor police said.
No injuries were reported, police said. The Briarcliff Manor woman who reported the accident wrote down the tractor-trailer's license plate number. But police said it did not match any plates in its system, and they were not able to track down the vehicle's owner. A lack of information led to the closure of the case, police said.
