Both 13-year-olds are boys, police said.
According to Yorktown police and officials with the Westchester County Child Advocacy Center, the charges are the result of an investigation into a report that a male teen was abused numerous times at his residence between February and June by the family member.
The teen was arrested and issued an appearance ticket to appear before the Westchester County Department of Probation on Aug. 4. Police added that if charged as an adult, the teen would have faced sexual abuse charges.
