Services Scheduled For Briarcliff Man, 25, Killed In Mount Pleasant Crash

Services have been scheduled for the 25-year-old Northern Westchester man who was killed in a one-car crash on Route 117 in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Connor David Gilbert Estavillo of Briarcliff Manor was born in Newport R.I. on Aug 14, 1992 to his mother Shannon (nee Brown) Estavillo of Briarcliff Manor and his father David Estavillo of New Mexico.

Connor graduated from Briarcliff Manor High School in 2010. He later joined the ranks of the Hawthorne Fire Department where he proudly served his community before enlisting in the US Army in 2011. He honorably served his country until 2017, serving one tour of duty in Iraq.

Connor was known for his caring personality and his ability to make people laugh.

He is survived by his son Brantley Estavillo; sisters Chantel (Joseph) Carpentieri of Briarcliff Manor, and Siobhan (Marc) White of Bedford Hills; his grandmother Dorothy Paiva of Naugatuck, CT; and his three nephews Marc White Jr., Joseph Carpentieri Jr., and John White; as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Connor was predeceased by his grandfather Alfred Paiva in 2010.

A wake will be held at Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home at 1300 Pleasantville Rd. in Briarcliff Manor, New York on Thursday, Oct. 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services and interment are private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Connor's name to the Wounded Warriors Project would be appreciated.
