SCARBOROUGH, N.Y. Ken Danziger of Scarborough died suddenly on June 16. He was 63.
Danziger was commissioner of the Archville Fire Department in Briarcliff Manor. He was a former chief and member for more than 30 years.
Born July 24, 1948, in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of Jordan and Mildred Trustman Danziger. He was the owner and operator of The Elevator Man and a member of Elevator Conference of New York and National Association of Elevator Contractors.
Danziger enjoyed the fish pond in his yard. He was a member of the Long Island Mini Enthusiasts and liked to work on his classic Mini Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Martin Danziger; three sons, Quentin of Vail, Colo., Jason and Jeremy, both of Archville; his mother, Mildred, of Tarrytown; a brother, Clifford, of Harrison; a sister, Jill Pilbro, of Washington and two grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Jordan and a brother, Robert.
A memorial celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, at the Archville Fire House in Briarcliff Manor. Coffey Funeral Home in Tarrytown is handling arrangements.
