BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. - Jane Ann Johnson of Briarcliff Manor died Aug. 20. She was 88.
Johnson was born May 13, 1925, in Croton on Hudson, to William and Anna (Lynch) Munson. She retired from County Asphalt, Tarrytown where she worked as an office assistant. She was a volunteer of the Dominican Sisters of the Sick and Poor, Ossining where she and her sister ran a second hand store in Ossining. She was a member of St. Theresa's Parish in Briarcliff Manor.
Johnson is survived by her son, William A. (Debra) Johnson; two grandchildren; and two nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur W. Johnson, Jr.; sister, Eleanor; and brother, William.
Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m at the Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home, 1300 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor. Interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
