BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Daniel Garvey Shon of Briarcliff Manor died suddenly on June 25. He was 66.
Shon was president of Ambient Control in Ossining, a heating and air conditioning company he established in 1981.
He was born Nov. 11, 1945, in Mount Kisco to Daniel Norman and Geraldine Garvey Shon. He was raised in Pleasantville and graduated from Pleasantville High School and attended the University of Connecticut and University of New Mexico. He was a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Shon is survived by a sister, Betty Anne Kohm; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday at Dorsey Funeral Home in Ossining. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
